Fernando Bryce. “Drawing modern history"


Malba - Fundación Costantini presents: Fernando Bryce. “Drawing modern history". The first major retrospective exhibition of Fernando Bryce in Latin America (Lima, 1965. Lives and works in Berlin), one of the most recognized Peruvian artists internationally.
Organized by the Museo de Arte de Lima - MALI, the exhibition brings together for the first time many of the most ambitious series of drawings by the artist. It includes 19 works, made ​​up of over a thousand pieces, carried out between 1997 and 2011, from public and private collections in Germany, Spain, United States, Peru and Switzerland. Also included is the work of Iraqi Art Today 1972-2008 Malba collection, purchased in 2008 at the fair Pinta New York, through the Matching Funds Program sponsored by the IDB (Interamerican Development Bank).
The exhibition began its tour in MALI, which occurred between October 28 and February 5, 2012. He continued his journey to the University Museum Contemporary Art (MUAC) in Mexico City from March 3 to June 3, which was well received. Roaming ends in Malba, which runs through August 20, 2012
