Museo de Arte de Lima - MALI present in Google Art Project
The Museo de Arte de Lima - MALI and Google announced
the launch of the second phase of Google Art Project (www.googleartproject.com)
in Peru. This is an ambitious project that brings together more than a hundred
museums and galleries around forty countries around the world, including The
Metropolitan Museum of Art (MET) and MoMA in New York, Tate Britain and The
National Gallery in London, Museo Reina Sofia in Madrid, the Uffizi Gallery in
Florence and Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam, among others already offer this
interactive experience.
ABOUT GOOGLE ART PROJECT:
Google Art Project is a collaboration with some of the most acclaimed art museums in the world that can bring art to the people, through the digitization of parts with an extraordinary level of detail. The project was launched in February 2011 in 9 countries and included 17 thousand museum pieces. Today, with the launch of its second phase, Google Art Project spans the globe and includes 151 members from 40 countries.
